Welcome to the NorthJersey Woodcarvers Club!
North Jersey Woodcarvers is a chapter of the National Woodcarvers Association.
We were organized in 1972 to pass the knowledge of woodcarving to others.
We currently meet at 7:30pm, on the third Thursday of each month (except July, August & December) at the First Lutheran Church, 153 Park Street, in Montclair, New Jersey.
Meetings start with a short talk about club business followed by a “Show & Tell, where members are encouraged to bring a carving and explain how they made it.
After this, there is a “Demo” or presentation by a member or guest carver.
There is always plenty of coffee, donuts and fellowship.
Guests are invited to attend up to three meetings and then asked to join.
Membership is only $20.00 per year plus a one time fee of $4.00 for a badge.
You will then receive our monthly newsletter “Bits & Pieces".
Make it a point to regularly check our "News" and "Info" pages, where you will find the latest newsletter and other exciting goodies. Our members are very creative and generous. You will find patterns and information which are unavailable anywhere else.
